ommy is a partner and executive director. From 2006 to 2008, He was an executive director at Korea Venture Fund, Korea’s first LLC fund run jointly by State Street Global Advisors, Vertex Management, and Yozma. In Samsung Venture, he managed investments in the IT software and Digital Media Sector from 2000 to 2006, and invested in companies such as CD Networks, Pure Digital Technology, Divx etc.

Prior to Samsung Venture, he was with the Asset Management Department at Samsung Life Insurance and the Global Strategy Group at Samsung Chairman’s office, investing cross-border deals and providing management consulting services for various Samsung affiliates respectively.

He earned a B.S in Industrial Engineering from Sungkyunkwan University and an M.B.A from Boston University.
