Socialinus is a social game company established in 2011 by developers from NHN. During the growth phase of Facebook’s social game platform, Socialinus strategically introduced board games with high monetization ratios. Despite global competitors in the Facebook social game platform, Socialinus ranked global top 3 in the board games category.
Over 4.5 million users from 170 countries played Socialinus’ games, and Socialinus continues to service games through 6waves, Facebook’s most renown publisher.
Stonebridge executed a first-round investment in the initial year and followed up with Series B investments which financed Socialinus during its early stage.
Socialinus merged with a Kosdaq-listed firm Cape (currently Social Media 99) in 2012. Within a year, Stonebridge Capital made a profit of approximately twice the total investment.
