Tommy is a partner at Stonebridge Ventures. From 2006 to 2008, he was an executive director at Korea Venture Fund, Korea’s first LLC fund run jointly by State Street Global Advisors, Vertex Management, and Yozma. Prior to KVF, Mr. Kim was at Samsung Venture where he managed investments in IT software and Digital Media Sector, where he led investments in companies such as CD Networks, Pure Digital Technology, and Divx.

Prior to Samsung Venture, Mr. Kim was with the Asset Management branch at Samsung Life Insurance and the Global Strategy Group at Samsung Chairman’s office, where he invested in cross-border deals and provided management consulting services for various Samsung affiliates respectively.

Mr. Kim holds a B.S in Industrial Engineering from Sungkyunkwan University and an M.B.A from Boston University.
